Team management for a high-school golf program, in one app instead of four tools. Scoring and stats, GPS distances, the schedule, team and parent messaging, qualifying standings, and a skill rating — with separate views for coaches, players, guardians and private instructors.
It is built for a golf course specifically, which mostly means it is built for no signal. Rounds are scored on the phone and sync when service returns.
Pilot programs are free. Schools that pilot during Early Access also get a full year free after the pilot ends, and keep a permanent 10% early-adopter discount on the standard price after that.
Standard pricing is being set now. If you are talking to me about a pilot, you will know the number before you are ever asked to pay one.
Not yet — this is pre-launch. Pilot schools install it from a direct link rather than a store listing. Android works today. An iPhone version is in build and will be available before any public launch.
The coach signs up and creates the team. Everyone else joins that team with a code the coach gives out.
Every user under 18 needs both parent or guardian permission and school approval before they use the app. The school is responsible for approving its own students — that is not something an app can decide on a school’s behalf, and it is not something to ask a 15-year-old to self-certify.
Thirteen. It is enforced when an account is created and again at the database, so it holds even if someone works around the app.
We check it against the graduation year every player already gives us, rather than asking a child for a date of birth. A birth date is a permanent identifier, and collecting one from a minor in order to protect minors defeats the purpose. A graduation year is coarse, already known inside a school, and precise enough to answer the only question being asked. A refused signup is not recorded — storing “this person appeared to be twelve” would keep exactly the data the rule exists to avoid.
No, and the block is in the database rather than in the app, so it holds even if someone bypasses the interface entirely.
The role a person picks when signing up is an identity label — “I am a parent” — and it grants nothing on its own. Real permissions come from the membership row on a specific team. A person can only ever add themselves to a team as pending, only a coach can change anyone’s status or role, and a database trigger blocks editing your own role once your membership is active. A student who signs up claiming to be a coach ends up with a label and an empty queue.
The coach shares a Team Code. Anyone entering it lands in the coach’s approval queue as pending and sees nothing until the coach approves them and assigns a role. Nobody joins a roster without a coach approving them by name.
Guardians are linked to their own child by the coach. The database requires that the coach coaches a team both people belong to, so a coach cannot attach an unrelated account to one of their players.
These are minors, so the honest version matters more than the reassuring one.
Access rules are enforced at the database, not in the app — every request is checked against who is asking, so a bug in a screen cannot leak a row. Sensitive fields are closed by default: phone numbers, email addresses and share codes are unreadable even to accounts that can see the rest of a player’s profile. GPS coordinates are deleted 30 days after a round by a scheduled job that runs daily. Profile photos live in a private store, are served only through short-lived links, and are stripped of their embedded location data when uploaded.
Two things the app deliberately does not have: a searchable directory of players, and any channel that lets an outside adult message a player.
A college coach can be granted view-only access to performance data — scoring record, stats, tournament history. They cannot see the schedule, the roster, team messages, or a player’s social handles.
Access starts with the player: the player issues a share code, the recruiter redeems it, and the player’s guardian approves it. There is no way to request access without a code the player handed over deliberately, and codes expire after 24 hours.
There is no messaging, on purpose. NCAA rules restrict when a college coach may contact a prospect, and a message channel here could cost a recruit their eligibility. Recruiting conversation goes through the high-school coach, which is where it belongs anyway.
The data is yours. Coaches keep full access in the off-season — the app does not lock you out between seasons, and players keep scoring, tracking stats and building their record year-round. Most of a golfer’s improvement happens in the months nobody is keeping standings.
A one-click export to a spreadsheet you keep permanently is planned and not yet built. Today, getting a copy out means asking for it, and you will get it.
There are no users beyond test accounts, so there are no testimonials and no retention numbers to show you. Shot tracking has not been through a full competitive season. The iPhone version is not out. Spreadsheet export is not built.
You would rather hear that now than find it in week three of a pilot.
Golf is the whole product today and will stay the focus through the first pilots. Basketball is next, with football likely after it.

For people already on a team. Grouped by who is asking.
Everyone
Your coach gives you a Team Code. Enter it when you sign up. Your request goes to the coach, who approves you and puts you on the roster.
Your coach hasn’t approved you yet. Until they do, you are on the team’s pending list and the app has nothing to show you. If it has been a while, tell your coach directly — approvals sit in their roster screen.
Not for scoring. Play the round as normal with no service and it is saved on your phone, then sent up when you get signal back. You can close the app mid-round. Nothing is lost and nothing gets recorded twice, even if the connection comes and goes on the same hole.
GPS distances also work without signal — satellite positioning is not the same as cell service. What needs a connection is loading a course you have never played before.
Players
Yes — start the round and choose the front nine or the back nine. Nine-hole rounds are kept separate from eighteens in your averages, because a 40 over nine and an 80 over eighteen are not the same score and averaging them together would be meaningless.
That is expected. Your total is calculated from your hole-by-hole scores on the server rather than added up on your phone, so the number settles once everything has synced. It is the arithmetic catching up with what you entered, not a score being altered.
A green in regulation means you reached the putting surface with two strokes left to make par. The app works it out from your strokes, putts and the par — you are never asked to enter it.
You can overturn it for the one case the arithmetic cannot see: a chip you hole out. That records zero putts, which reads as a green hit even though you missed it.
No — it is not a handicap, and it is not your scoring average either. It blends how you score with five components of how you play: accuracy, approach, putting, short game and composure.
Scoring carries the most weight, because golf is a scoring game and a rating that argued with your scorecard would be worth ignoring. But the components are what move first — which is what makes the number useful to a player trying to get better, rather than only useful to a coach picking a lineup.
Components need 27 holes of detailed shot data before they count. Below that there is not enough to say anything true about your putting or your short game, so your rating runs on scoring alone rather than guessing.
Because nobody has surveyed its greens yet. That course is marked unmapped and played for score only.
The app will never invent a yardage. No number is better than a wrong number you club off. You can capture real green positions yourself while you play — stand on the green and record it, one hole at a time.
In Settings, issue a share code and give it to them. Two things to know: the code expires 24 hours after you create it, and your guardian has to approve the request before your instructor sees anything. You can revoke a live code at any time from the same screen.
They see performance only — your record and your stats. Not team chat, not the schedule, not your contact details.
Deliberate. Every GPS feature measures from where you are standing, and you left that course days ago. A round entered after the fact gets a scorecard instead, and the app does not ask for a location permission it has no use for.
Coaches
Create the team, then share the Team Code with your players and their parents. They enter it, you approve each one and set their role and squad. You can run more than one squad from the same account.
A team switcher appears at the top of the screen once you are on more than one. Everything below it — schedule, roster, standings, chat — follows the team you have selected, so you are never looking at one squad’s roster beside another’s calendar.
Two ways. Set it while you create the event — pick the tournament type and the lineup option appears in the form. Or set it later from the event card, which is the more common case.
The order you tap players is the playing order, so your first tap is your one seed. Lineups are visible to the whole team, because whether they are playing is the main thing a player wants to know about a tournament.
The Calendar answers “what is on this week”. The Schedule answers “what does the season look like” — every event in one list, sorted by date, with what you have already played folded to the bottom. Same events, two questions. Toggle between them at the top of the Events tab.
It freezes the qualifying ladder and quiets squad assignment — the two things that only mean anything while you are picking a team each week.
It restricts nothing a player can do. Scoring, GPS, stats, strokes gained and their recruiting profile all keep working exactly as they do in April. That is the point: the off-season is when a player rebuilds a swing, and the work they put in over the summer is already in the app when you open the season.
Because that is the same door a player would use. Once your membership is active, your role can only be changed by another coach on that team. It is the rule that makes “coach” mean something.
Whether the player was representing the school. It is a property of the round, not of the season — golfers play junior and open events during the season too, so a June AJGA round and an April one are both non-school.
It matters most on a recruiting record: a 71 in a dual match and a 71 in a national junior field are not the same round.
Parents and guardians
Join with the Team Code, and the coach links you to your player. You cannot link yourself, and no one else can link an account to your child either — the coach has to coach a team you are both on.
Everything for your own child: their rounds, stats, rating, schedule and their messages. You see your child, not the whole roster.
Team chat you can read but not post in — that is the players’ and coaches’ channel. There is a separate parents channel for you and the staff.
You can remove it yourself at any time, without going through your child or asking a coach. There is no photo at all by default, and any photo uploaded has its embedded location data stripped before it is stored — a phone picture routinely carries the coordinates of where it was taken.
Photos will also need an adult’s approval before anyone else can see them. That step is being built now.
Their account stays and they keep access to their own record — the rounds and stats they built up do not disappear when they graduate.
Your access as a guardian ends once you and your player no longer share a team. It is automatic, and it is the same condition the link was created under, checked continuously instead of only once at the start.
A private instructor or college coach your player invited themselves is not affected. That is a relationship your player owns, and they can end it from their own settings.
Instructors and college coaches
The player gives you a share code, you redeem it, and their guardian approves you. Codes expire 24 hours after the player creates one. There is no way to request access to a player who has not handed you a code.
Performance only — tournament record, scoring average, stats and strokes gained. Not the team roster, not the schedule, not team messages, not the player’s contact details or social accounts.
A schedule is a minor’s future whereabouts, which is why it is not included.
No. There is no message channel to a player in this app, by design.
For college coaches this is an eligibility question, not a preference: NCAA rules restrict when you may contact a prospect, and a channel here could cost that player their eligibility. Go through the high-school coach.
