What you agree to by using Altus Sport, and what Altus Sport is deliberately not.

Altus Sport is operated by Sharp Ventures, LLC, of Edmond, Oklahoma, United States ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between us and you, the person using the application.
By creating an account or using Altus Sport, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and who can see it. It is part of this agreement.
You must be at least 13 years old. Altus Sport is built for high school golf programmes and is not directed to younger children.
If you are under 18, you may use Altus Sport with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Altus Sport is designed on the expectation that a player has a parent or guardian on the service, and some features — approving a profile photograph, approving access for an instructor or a collegiate coach — can only be done by that guardian.
If you are a parent or guardian, you agree that you are responsible for your child's use of the service and that you accept these terms on their behalf as well as your own.
Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at tjsharp4@gmail.com if you believe someone else is using it.
What you can do in Altus Sport comes from your membership of a team, not from the role you picked when you signed up. A coach's powers come from being an active coach on that team's roster, which somebody already on the staff has to grant. You cannot give yourself those powers by editing your own profile, and the service prevents it.
One account per person. Do not create an account for somebody else, or pretend to be somebody you are not.

We may suspend or remove an account that does any of this. Where a minor's safety is involved we will act first and discuss it afterwards.
Anything you put into Altus Sport — scores, messages, photographs, profile text — remains yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it for the purpose of operating the service for you and the people entitled to see it under the Privacy Policy. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the backup window described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to post what you post.
Coaches can see team chat and the parents channel for their own team. Guardians can see their own child's messages. This is deliberate and is described in the Privacy Policy — Altus Sport does not offer private messaging between an adult and a minor that nobody else can see.
Yardages in Altus Sport are advisory. They are calculated from your device's GPS and from surveyed green positions, and both can be wrong. Treat them the way you would treat any rangefinder: as information, not as an authority.
Altus Sport measures distance only. It does not measure elevation change, slope, wind, or any other condition of play. Rules on distance-measuring devices vary by competition and by governing body, and enforcement is the player's responsibility — check with your association or tournament committee before using any device in competition.
A course we have not surveyed is played for score only. Where we do not hold verified green positions, the app does not show yardages at all rather than estimating them. A number a player clubs off has to be real or absent; there is no useful middle.
Scores and statistics are records of what was entered. Altus Sport is not an official scoring or handicapping system, and its skill rating is not a USGA Handicap Index. Do not use it where an official score or handicap is required.
Altus Sport is a record-keeping and communication tool for a golf programme. It is not a supervision, safeguarding, emergency or child-protection system, and it must not be relied on as one. It does not monitor conversations for harmful content, verify anybody's identity, or tell you where a player is. Responsibility for supervising minors stays with the school, the coaching staff, and parents and guardians.
If you believe a child is at risk, contact the relevant authorities. Do not rely on this application to raise it for you.
Altus Sport is early software. During a pilot it is provided free of charge, and we make no promise about uptime, uninterrupted access, or preservation of data. Features may change or be removed. We may need to take the service down for maintenance without notice.
If we ever start charging, we will say so clearly and in advance, and you will not be billed for something you did not agree to.
We may end a pilot, or the service, at any time. If we do, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data first.
You may stop using Altus Sport and delete your account at any time from within the app.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, that puts other users at risk, or where we are required to by law.
Sections 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11 survive the end of this agreement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Altus Sport is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any score, statistic, rating or distance it produces is accurate.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Sharp Ventures, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or opportunity, arising out of your use of Altus Sport.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred United States dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case the limitations above apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, and you and we each consent to that jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, or how information about minors is handled, we will notify account holders and guardians in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Altus Sport after a change means you accept the updated terms.
